I’ve been thinking about how we can enhance outdoor education in Montessori settings. Recently, I took a group of kids on a nature walk where they collected leaves and identified trees — it’s incredible how engaged they became. I believe we can further develop these experiences to build not just their connection to nature, but also a sense of environmental stewardship right from the classroom.
